With this ethos, The Drop is a music festival dedicated to community, culture, local food and beverages and above all, a shared love of the ocean. About Torquay
Known as the official start point to Australia’s national heritage listed Great Ocean Road. Stretching an impressive 243 kilometres across Victoria and South Australia, Torquay is known as Victoria’s surfing and beach capital. It is home to the well-known Bells Beach and the birthplace of surf brands Rip curl and Quicksilver.
Still if surfing isn’t quite your thing, there is the coastline offers and a variety of beautiful walks, you can hire bikes to make your way slowly along the Great Ocean Road and finally Victoria is home to some of Australia’s best wineries with the local Mount Duneed only a short drive away.
