Boy & Bear Make Their Long Awaited Comeback

After four years hiatus Boy & Bear are back and ready sharing their much loved 70’s inspired indie folk-rock tunes with Australia and the world.

After shooting to fame in 2011 with their debut Album Moonfire, the 5-piece Sydney band were forced to take a break in 2015 as lead singer, Dave Hosking, battled health issues, resulting in him being diagnosed with Chronic Dysbiosis- a rare and debilitating condition caused by an imbalance of bacteria in the gut.

Four years on, with progress in Hosking’s health due to Faecal Microbiota Transplants (aka faecal transplants, and help from donor, Harry) the five-time ARIA award winners have recorded and released their long awaited fourth studio album Suck on Light and have returned to the live touring scene.

Having just embarked on a national and international tour, with dates across Australia and the USA, Boy & Bear are set to continue their comeback success with a Europe and UK tour and dates announced for The Drop Festival in 2020.
