Man’s best friend takes to the waves once again as The Dog Surfing Championships return to Noosa Festival of Surfing in 2020!
Showcasing the best in surfing dog talent from around Australia the event will see talented pups and their humans show off their surfing skills in an attempt to take home the Best Wave Award.
Catch all the K-9 fun this year on Sunday, March 1st at First Point, Noosa Heads from 1.30pm.
To celebrate the event we’ve made a gallery of some our favourite photos from the past years as dogs and their owners battle it out on in waves at Noosa Festival of Surfing.
This year you can also catch Chris de Aboitiz, dog whisperer, former world champion tandem surfer and dog surfing pioneer as he hosts a special Dog behaviour 101 workshop on Saturday, 29 February 2020, 7:30am-10:30am at Noosa Dog Beach, Noosa Spit, Claude Batten Drive.
