Stephanie Gilmore takes out Fifth Victory at Honolua Bay

Aussie Stephanie Gilmore celebrated her fifth victory at Honolua Bay this week and make history qualifying as one of the 18 athletes to compete in 2020 Olympics.

The 31 year old faced fellow Aussie Tyler Wright in the finals before claiming a 14.16 to 9.67 win. The victory sees Gilmore provisionally qualify to represent Australia in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and extends her record to a massive 31 career titles.
