The Newcastle leg of our tour will be at Empire Park, Newcastle on Saturday March 7th, 2020.
Festival gates will open 13:00 local NSW time (AEDT).

Tickets are on sale now
Eventbrite is the only official place to buy ticket to The Drop Festival. Our official resale facility, Tixel is the only other authorised source. Resale is not currently open.
Don’t buy from any other sources including Viagogo and Gumtree or you risk purchasing a counterfeit or invalid ticket, often at an inflated price that will not get you through the gates on the day. Scammers actively use fake Facebook accounts to target people looking for tickets, beware!
The Drop Festival is not responsible for any ticket purchased from unauthorised sources. We will cancel any ticket codes we believe have been duplicated or tampered with.

Child (0 - 10y) - Free entry (must pre-register online)

All attendees aged 15 and under MUST be accompanied by a responsible parent and / or adult guardian holding a valid Event ticket when entering the festival and at all times whilst at The Drop Festival.
We strongly recommend this parent and/or adult guardian is aged 25 years or older. Event Ticket holders aged 15 years and under not accompanied by a responsible parent and/or adult guardian holding a valid event ticket will be denied entry into the event or removed from the Venue.
Security & Event Management reserve the right to make determinations on whether guardians under the age of 25 are eligible to accompany minors.

Yes! We require all names on tickets, matching your ID. Security will be checking this on the day and if they don’t match you won’t be allowed into the event.
Shortened names (e.g. Dan for Daniel) or typos will be allowed but nicknames will not.
To protect all buyers and sellers, we do not offer the option of simply processing a ‘name change’. This is a measure we have introduced to reduce scalping and ensure ticket purchasers are not scammed when buying second-hand tickets.
If necessary, you can transfer names on tickets on the official re-sale facility Tixel, no sooner than 6 weeks prior to the event.
If you have arranged to sell or give your ticket privately to a friend, you can simply list the ticket for sale and before the final confirmation (in step 4), select the 'private listing' option. You can then send the private ticket link to the new ticket holder.
Changing or transferring names later will cost an admin fee.
Ticket sales are final and there are no refunds on ticket purchases, including if you have simply changed your mind or can no longer attend. Our full refund policy can be found here: Terms & Conditions.
Tickets may be resold securely using Tixel, our exclusive re-sale facility, when re-sale opens.

No. Each ticket is for a single event location.
No sorry! We don’t offer transfers between events. Please choose your event carefully!
Tickets are sent to you in a confirmation email, usually straight away. First check your junk mail if nothing has come through.

You don’t need an existing Eventbrite account to buy tickets. Your tickets are linked to the email address you use when you check out, make sure you enter the right address!

No, The Drop Festival 2020 tour will not have VIP tickets for sale.
Tickets will be available at the gate on the day, unless sold out prior.
Tickets are sold at full price regardless of the time you arrive on the event day.
It is your responsibility to make sure you have your emailed ticket at least 48 hours before the event.
If on the day you don’t have your ticket, bring photo ID and any documentation you have to the Box Office and we may be able to assist. This is absolutely not guaranteed, and we strongly recommend locating your ticket well in advance.

If you can no longer attend this event you must use our official resale facility, Tixel. Once resale is open you will be able to safely resell your ticket. Tixel provides a safe marketplace allowing people to buy and sell tickets for this event hassle-free. Ticket resale will open no sooner than 6 weeks prior to the event.
We require your name to be printed on your ticket, matching your ID. Security will be checking this on the day.

For minors 15 & under who don’t have a driver’s license (Learner’s Permit) or a current valid passport, we will also accept a copy of your birth certificate PLUS one of the following:

No ID no entry: everyone must provide valid ID to enter the event.
There are strictly NO PASSOUTS, once you have left the festival you won’t be able to return.
Please get it replaced ASAP. You must have valid ID to enter the festival. This isn’t just a ticketing requirement, it’s a legal requirement. Even with a valid ticket, you will not be admitted without ID.
Please be advised that The Drop Festival is an ALL AGES EVENT. However, valid ID will be required for everyone.
Upon entry to the festival all patrons will be issued a wristband. This must be worn for the duration of the festival. There will be no replacements for lost or broken wristbands. Wristbands are not to be transferred to friends. Any patrons found without a wristband will be immediately removed from the festival.

The Drop Festival is CASHLESS. The only way to pay is with your card through contactless or mobile payments. Any card with a chip in it or VISA payWave symbol, Samsung, Apple, Android Pay via your phone will be accepted.
No, the festival is cashless so there will be no ATMs.
When packing your bag for the day please include the following

No professional cameras (read: cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation. Similarly, no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.
Prescription medications need to be labelled with your name & prescription.
Yes, these can be stored. Please see our medical staff immediately upon arrival at the festival.
There will be full first aid medical facilities available at all festival locations, If you require medical attention, please see one of our medical tents and first aid tents.
We have made a number of provisions to ensure our events are accessible to all. These include provision of a complimentary Companion card ticket, accessible entrance lanes, accessible viewing area and accessible toilet facilities.
The event is suitable for people in a wheelchair. However, our event venues are predominantly flat grass parkland which can be soft and boggy after rain. We do recommend being accompanied by a carer/companion to navigate your way around the site stress free.
To request a companion card ticket, you must hold a valid Companion card. Please send through a copy of your companion card with a valid ticket confirmation and name & email of companion to [email protected].
On show day, our customer service staff will be available if you need assistance in accessing the concert site. Please email [email protected] if you wish to pre-arrange assistance or have any further inquiries.

Yes, there will be security presence at all festival locations.
Yes, there will be police present at all Drop festival locations in 2020. This may include drug detection sniffer dogs. Police will also be conducting RBT and MDT tests in the areas surrounding all festival sites.
Please take this into consideration when attending. Understand your rights & know the consequences for illegal activity.
No external food or beverages are allowed to be brought to any festival site.
You can bring unsealed EMPTY reusable water bottles to use throughout the day.
NO METAL BOTTLES.
The Drop is considered an all-weather event, we play rain, hail or shine.
We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather conditions. Umbrellas are part of our prohibited items list.
No! Shoes are necessary for all festival locations. Thongs and Sandals are fine, but we highly recommend enclosed footwear.
Found: Please take any found items to festival staff at the Information Tent / Cloak Room located next to the front gate.
Lost: if you have lost something please check with our gate staff on the day or alternatively please email [email protected] and we will try our best to help you.
Yes! If you have an oversized bag you’ll be required to check it in our secure cloakroom. The cloakroom is located right next to the entrance.
No, this is not a BYO event. Under no circumstances will any patron be allowed to bring alcohol into the festival.
Alcohol can be purchased from bars in the licensed area of the festival grounds.
Yes, there will be a variety of food operates at all Drop festival locations. Further information on all food operators will be released closer to the event date.
Food stalls will be open for the duration of the festival.
There will be a variety of food stalls to cater for all vegetarian, vegan and GF patrons.
No external food or beverages are allowed to be brought to any festival site.
You can bring unsealed EMPTY reusable water bottles to use throughout the day.
Note: Metal water bottles won’t be allowed onsite.
There is NO PARKING available at the event site. The best way of getting to the event is via our dedicated shuttle services or via public transport. Please see our GETTING THERE page for more info.

Supply of alcohol to minors is a serious offence. Anyone caught supplying alcohol to anyone under 18 years will be reported to authorities and subject to prosecution and fines.
Any minor found in possession of alcohol will have their ticket cancelled and will be removed from the event.
When an adult becomes aware that a child has gone missing, they should report this to a member of staff or security.
Our staff will work closely with the authorities to locate the child safely and securely.
We are no longer accepting artist submissions for 2020.
