The World Surfing League and the ABC (USA) have announced the launch of their new reality show “Ultimate Surfer “; an exciting eight-part reality series that follows several up and coming US surfers as battle it out for a place on the World Tour.

The series, set to start production in early 2020, will be filmed at WSL’s Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California, utilizing Kelly Slaters’ incredible man-made wave technology and will see competitors take on team challenges and weekly eliminations giving us a unique and unprecedented look into the making of a world class surf champion.

Adding to the hype, Kelly Slater has confirmed he has signed on as on-air talent, special correspondent and lead consultant for the show.
