Three-piece Aussie rockers DZ Deathrays are yet again looking to take the crown for Best hard rock/heavy metal album as the ARIA Music Awards announce their fourth studio album Positive Rising: Part 1 has been nominated for the title.

The Bris Vegas trio, who just wrapped up a mega 5-city Australian tour with Polish Club, VOIID, and The Buoys are no stranger to the ARIA Music awards having won Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album in 2012 for their album Bloodstreams and again in 2014 for Black Rat.

This year DZ Deathrays, who released their latest album in August this year, will be up against several other Aussie heavyweights including Dead Letter Circus and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard for the Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal title, but our money’s on DZ for the win!

The ARIA Music Awards take place at Sydney’s The Star Event Centre on Wednesday November 27th, 2019.
